Pippi Zornoza
Pippi Zornoza (born 1978) is a visual artist and star of the cult movie classic 'Die You Zombie Bastards!', directed by Caleb Emerson,〔IMDB 'Die You Zombie Bastards'〕 and sister of novelist Andrew Zornoza.〔Bookslut. Blake Butler. Jan 2010. An Interview with Andrew Zornoza〕 She received a BFA in Printmaking from RISD in 2001. Zornoza is a co-founder of the Dirt Palace, an artist collective, located in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence, RI. Zornoza's visual art utilizes fabric, textiles and embroidery: her repetitive and intricate designs contain layered and repeating motifs of skulls, swords, birds and various predatory animals. Her work has exhibited internationally in Argentina, Columbia and Sweden, and was published in the art-poster anthology, ''The Art of Modern Rock''.〔Paul Grushkin and David King.
